Your car’s dashboard lights perform an important role in safety & car health. These lights indicate an issue with your car that needs urgent action.


Warning Symbols

Low Fuel Level

This sign indicates that the car is running low on fuel and will soon need a refill.


Engine Temperature Warning Light

This sign indicates that the engine temperature has exceeded standard limits. To solve this issue check coolant level & coolant leaks, operation of the engine fan, and radiator cap placement.

Battery Charge Warning Light

This sign indicates that the car’s charging system has insufficient power or is not charging correctly. It normally means a fault with the battery itself or the alternator.

Oil Pressure Warning Light

This sign indicates loss of oil pressure, suggesting lubrication is low or lost totally. Promptly check the oil level and pressure.


Brake Warning Light

This sign light turns on when the handbrake is on. If this light glows continuously, it suggests that hydraulic pressure is lost in one side of the brake system or that the fluid level in the master cylinder is severely low (due to a leak in someplace of the brake system).

Brake Fluid Warning Light

This sign light turns on when the brake fluid level is low.




Brake Pad Warning Light

This sign indicates that the brake pads are worn out.



Tire Pressure Warning Light

This sign light turns on when the pressure is low in one of your tires.


Gas/Fuel Cap Warning Light

This sign light turns on when the gas/fuel cap is not properly tightened.



Air Suspension Warning Light

This sign indicates that there is a defect in the air suspension bags, likely due to a leak or inflation issue.



Master Warning Light

This sign is normally accompanied by another warning light and symbolizes that one or more warning systems have been detected.



Safety Symbols

Check Engine or Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL)

This sign indicates that the car’s diagnostic systems have identified a defect that needs to be investigated.

Security Alert

This sign light turns on momentarily if the ignition switch is secured and will need the proper transponder-equipped key to restart. If the light glows when the vehicle is on, then it means there is a bug in the security system.

Seat Belt Indicator

This sign light turns on when the seat belt has not been secured for a passenger in the vehicle.


Parking Brake Light

This sign light turns on when the parking brake is on.




Direction/Signal Indicators

This sign light turns on when one of the turn signals (left or right) has been activated.



Child Safety Lock

This sign light turns on when the child safety lock is activated.




Hood/Bonnet Open

This sign light turns on when the car hood is not closed correctly.



Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)

This sign indicates that there may be a malfunction in the ABS system.


Airbag Indicator

This sign light turns on when the front airbag is switched off. If this lamp lights up check for faults in the airbag or seatbelt system.

Airbag Deactivated

This sign light turns on when there is a defect in the rear spoiler system. Check to see if the sensor is working or if there is some kind of electrical issue.


Brake Lights Warning

This sign indicates that the exterior brake light bulb is defective. Check the operation of all the exterior brake light bulbs.


Washer Fluid Reminder

This sign light turns on when the windscreen washer fluid reservoir is nearly empty. Fill the washer fluid reservoir.
